AIko's sophomore album. Thirteen new songs. Forty-two minutes.
More melody, more depression, more confounding!
Matt described the character of this album as being someone without any
power. Powerless. He told stories but could not do anything. Maybe he was a
'hot ghost' that terrified, sagged and whatever.
"I wanted to believe that I didn't need the Tower..."
'Impatient Bill of Nights' is released here on a variable price schedule: a
$0.00 ('free') option or a choose your own price reel. You can grab it above
and pay 'nothing' or grab it and pay something below.

covers complete with cd-r album inside, itself in a flexible plastic sleeve.

Returning from eight months probation! A single eked out under duress, only
because of the Halloween stress and storm – holiday season hit hard this year.
But here, the second one. Not eked, totally formed. The most complete Pacific
Blush effort yet. A gloomy, stormy, sweet, powerful, loving, trip to the heart
of Blush. Featuring a tiny pocketful of guests, this album remains Matt's.
Definitely a darker album than the debut, yet also more expansive and at
times a shade content. A stronger focus on electric guitar and organ helps with
the shadier connotations while the vocals bring a warming glow. Self-assuring
realizations scatter across the album, leaving a sense of hope.
Fashion Chrysalis is the follow-up to last summer's “acclaimed” Skeletal
Gardens. It's official release is Valentine's Day, Sunday the 14th. It will be
available on iTunes, amazon, eMusic, and lala. There is also going to be a handmade edition, which
will be made available here post-haste. In the meantime feel free to ogle the
tracklist below.
Illuminated house is one of the last songs off the forthcoming album
'Fashion Chrysalis', which should be out by late november, early december. The
track is kinda halloween-y, so i thought I'd make it into a little single to
post for today. The other track is a song recorded just for the single.. You
can download it here for
the time being. Hope you enjoy it, and Happy early Halloween!
Also....
I'm going to make 15-20 handmade editions of Fashion Chrysalis that I will
sell on this blog for $12. Or however much. I need to find out how much it'll
cost to make.
Hey, this is just a quick announcement of Fashion Chrysalis, the new 10
track pacific blush LP! That's the front and back cover of the album above
(which might not be final). Anyways I have some plans for the album that I will
post about in the next day or so... maybe few :p I have a cold or flu or
something, and I don't quite feel totally here so everything I've meant to do
is taking forever.

This was the, can you guess it?, last Ovmujyo track before the project went
on indefinite hiatus. It was recorded in 2004. Initially it was going to appear
on the third coil-list compilation and then the most unfortunate happened and
eventually it appeared on a tribute compilation to Jhon Balance entitled "The
Loneliest Link In A Very Strange Chain" (itself a line from a Coil track). It
had long been one of my dreams to work with, or at the least share my work
with, Balance, and I think this was probably the closest I'll ever come.
Yoink,
The track is called "Transmarginal Abreaction, Dude". It's something I'm
still happy with and I hope you will like it too. I tried to reference a little
TG in it, as I'd always heard Jhon was their biggest fan.
You can listen below or, if you'd like, download it here.
The photo is of my childhood best friend Tim and I, though you might have to
take my word for that on the latter. Tim features in the track, though the
recordings of his voice are from a few years after this was taken.
Well it's been a while since I've mentioned anything from my little corner
of the galaxy, planetarium, etc... so here is a little early morning ambient
piece, a rough sketch of something that I started for a new Aiko P. track..
This is a cover me and my friend jordan did recently. It was
kinda tough, since it was the first cover I've done and probably his too. I've
played it everyday on the organ since. Hope you like it.
I've been planning on releasing a IBB demo EP for awhile now, but I've just
never gotten around to it, but I was looking through some folders and found
this demo of dust collector. It's almost an entirely different song, and I
think I may like it better than the version on 'after school.'
You can download and stream it below.
(sorry about it being a wav, I'm having a lot of trouble converting the
file. I'll change it as soon as I can.)
I Love this sooooo much, always puts me in a good mood, always inspires me
to write. In my opinion, this is their best song, and probably always will
be.
This is #1 (now son!) of many improvised tracks to be released, and the the
first of three Improvised jams that my friend Jarod and I did today, Or I guess
yesterday now. I'll try to post one every week or two. On this one, I play
guitar and synths, while Jarod's on the drums, But the other two are me playing
drums and Jarod on guitar. You can download, and stream it below,.
